Obad : A New Advanced Android Malware
This piece of malware is able to do things not previously done by the first of its kind. This makes simple tasks, such as file system corruption or steal files and other information. Called Backdoor.AndroidOS.Obad.A, this malware attempts to gain root access to a device, exploiting several vulnerabilities, blocking attempts to uninstall and can run remote commands from your Android device.
Analyze and detect this malware is difficult, because when it comes to a device, most of it is encrypted, and is not decrypted until they get access to Internet. Working quietly in the background, without an interface, Backdoor.Android.OS.Obad is currently in limited circulation. Although it is believed that this advanced and sophisticated malware is waiting for their next victim in a variety of websites questionable app stores and others.
