Save RAM with doing a simple thing
1). Launch any application, such as Word. Open some large documents
2). Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open Task Manager and click the Processes tab Windows and sort the list in descending order of Mem usage.
You will notice that WINWORD.EXE will be somewhere at the top, use more MB of memory
3). Now switch to Word and simply minimize it. (Do not use the Windows taskbar Minimize All).
4). Now back to the Windows Task Manager and see where WINWORD.EXE is listed. Most likely you will not find at the top. Normally you have to scroll to the bottom of the list to find Word. Now check the amount of RAM you are using. Surprised? The memory usage is reduced by a huge amount.
5). Minimize each application that you are currently working, click the Minimize button and can increase the amount of available RAM by a substantial margin. Depending on the number and type of applications you use together, the difference can be up to 50 percent more RAM.
In any multitasking system, minimizing an application means that it will be used by the user at the time. Therefore, the operating system automatically creates the virtual memory usage of the application and keeps bare minimum amounts of the code in physical RAM. Sharing is sexy
