Manually Delete Autorun Virus with Winrar
Once that happened to a friend of mine, when his newly bought laptop was infected with this autorun.inf virus. This virus corrupted almost all hard disk drives, and when ever he tried to double-click the drive or opening any drive it opened in a new window.
In some cases, when the drive is infected with this Autorun.inf virus, you will not be able to access the entire disk. We explore the unit, its exploration is, the Ctrl+E from keyboard.
Sometimes, it will never be able to see hidden files, even if you have to show hidden files in folder options enabled. hey, this are all the wonders of this Autorun.inf virus.
I will show this rare method of removing Autorun.inf manually using just winrar application, not your antivirus or malware.
Autorun.inf Virus Removal Solution
Step 1: First Disable CD / DVD or USB Autorun in Windows
Step 2: Open WinRAR.exe (Start-> Programs-> WinRar-> WinRAR.exe)
Step 3: Now go to any drive that is infected with Autorun.inf virus using winrar explorer.
Step 4: Here you can see all the hidden files under winrar for that particular drive.
Step 5: Look for the file Autorun.inf and open it with notepad.
Step 6:. In that Autorun file, some mentioned EXE file that will run the autorun. This exe file is the main culprit.
Step 7: Note the exe file in the Autorun.inf file. Close the file Autorun.inf.
Step 8: Now look for that exe file on the drive. (Ex: c :/), delete the exe with Autorun.inf.
Step 9: Restart the operating system. Now your system is free of virus Autorun.inf.
Note: Repeat the same process if your USB flash drive or are infected with autorun.inf.
