Learn How to Hide Drives Without any Software
We will share a trick to make a hidden drive on your computer. We will not use any software to do so. Keep your files and folders, confidential in that unit to protect others. This technique is very simple and reliable. You will not face any degradation in the performance of your computer by this trick.
First, it is highly recommended to backup the system, so that if some kind of problem or error, then you can easily restore your previous state.
Therefore, we give step by step instructions to do so. Carefully read and follow the steps
1) Click Start and type "regedit" (without the quotes) and press.
2) Then go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
3) Right click on the right side panel to create a new DWORD named NoDrives.
4) Then open the file and change the value of the base 3FFFFFF hexadecimal (if we hide everything in the car).
5) To hide some units use the following decimal values based, as most of you might not be familiar with hex.
To hide A: 1
To hide B: 2
To hide C: 4
To hide D: 8
To hide E: 16
To hide F: 32
To hide G: 64
To hide H: 128
If you want to hide more than one drive, just add the values. Hiding C and D, the data would be of value'' 4'' 8 = 12
6) Now restart your system for the changes to take place.
To return, simply delete the registry key, log out and log in again.
