Power Point Skill

These days most students make at least a PowerPoint in elementary school. As expected, using most annoying sound effects and background color nauseous and dizzy animation capabilities imaginable to make his first appearance. There is nothing wrong with that, is a great way for children to learn about all the features available in PowerPoint. But if you want your students to develop a sense of design (or professionals working with adults who desperately need to develop their sense of design), then you need some guidelines to improve your PowerPoint presentations. Here are some guidelines very reasonable for PowerPoint presentations:

1) Use the same background for all slides. If in doubt, use one of the design patterns that come with PowerPoint. These models provide vocational training, looking at all times. You can find premade models in the Microsoft Office Web site.
2) Choose high-contrast colors. Means high contrast letters on a dark background, for example. High color contrast makes it much easier to read the slides. If in doubt, use one of the design patterns that come with PowerPoint. This ensures high-contrast colors.
3) Use a good picture or graphic slide. PowerPoint is a visual medium so please use drawings and graphics. Just make sure the images are relevant to the topic and big enough for the public to see and appreciate. Search online for images for free.
4) minimum of 32 points for the font size. Remember that you are making a presentation, not an eye exam. Your audience should be able to read the slides without binoculars.
5) up to 5 lines of text on each slide. Use bullet points and phrases instead of complete sentences. Plan to explain bullets and phrases as part of the oral presentation.
6) Please do not read the slides to the audience. In general, all members of the public can read and write. Instead of reading the slides using the slide as a starting point to learn more about it.
7) Check your spelling and grammar. Nothing distracts the attention of your audience rather than spelling and grammar.
8) Use a good presentation skills. Make sure you have good eye contact, you are strong enough, and do not forget to practice your presentation before sending. These things are very important to the public and that should be important to you.For social science teachers out there, here's a hypothetical version of the Gettysburg Address of Abraham Lincoln made with PowerPoint. We are very fortunate this show has never been presented. Here is a blog on how to improve all products through simplification. Presentation Zen, Garr Reynolds is full of comments and suggestions that can help improve their programs. Consider this article comparing visual presentations made by Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. And finally, the teachers out there who need a pre-made PowerPoint, see this site for hundreds to choose from: http://www.pppst.com/themes.html Sharing is sexy
