Easily change Registered Owner name in Windows
If you've ever wondered how to change the name of the person that Windows is registered, this is a quick tip for you. Not all that useful, but it can be useful if you have a computer of another person.
- Open regedit.exe through the start menu search box, and then locate the following registry key (Or press Win+R and type Regedit.exe in Run Box, then press Enter) :
- Now you can find the keys RegisteredOrganization, RegisteredOwner and in the right pane. Change any desired value.
- To view the new changes, Winver.exe just type in the search box on the Start menu to display the About dialog box on Windows
