There is no doubt that the good old YouTube can be a lot of fun, but when you get bored of watching videos in the traditional way, there are plenty of sites that can help enhance the experience.

If you want to see a video with a distant friend, compare two clips, or find more interesting ways to read and share, there are a lot of options out there. The web community is known for creating hacks that enhance your browsing experience, we dug into some of these tools and hacks around YouTube.

1. TubeReplayThis website has a super simple premise. TubeReplay play a video from YouTube and over again, until you stop it or go mad - whichever comes first. Just enter the URL of the clip you want to repeat and the site does the rest.

DRAGONtape allows remixing videos from YouTube on a seamless mixtape. Search the clips you want, drag and release to set the playback order of the playlist and then share with friends via a URL that is generated automatically, or enter the code provided.
